A dark bronze-colored metal coin from the Middle Ages, from the Ayyubid dynasty, between 1171 and 1260. There is some wear, but the pattern is still clear. According to our research, this was once worth half a "dirham". Today, the value of this coin is mainly determined by its age and history -- it has passed through many hands and pockets, and has been hidden somewhere for a long time before ending up here. What it may have been used to buy, we cannot say -- but that makes this an even more interesting item! A great addition for those interested in Middle Eastern history, or for a more historical cabinet of oddities. Also suitable for an altar decoration or as an aid to meditation.
Note: The color may differ from the image, as this was not photographed in natural light.
