1. What the heck are Witches Heirlooms?

Our shop sells antique, vintage and secondhand items to suit a witchy and dark style. We often try to find a new use or purpose for old items that serves the modern witches, wiccans, pagans etc, but we also serve the so-called ordinary people and collectors. We also sell some handmade ritual supplies, e.g. altar cloths, and home-grown dried plants.

2. I received my package in a recycled cardboard box?(!)

-Yes, we try to reuse packaging material, or (re)use any cardboard box that is suitable for the purpose. For now, we do not plan to buy branded packages for shipping, but sometimes you may receive a customized and branded package from us! Our approach may seem impractical, but it is more practical for nature, the price of the products, and our own wallet. Thank you for your understanding!

3. Where do you find these treasures?

Our method for these old world treasures is to acquire individual pieces from local old-item sales in flea markets etc -- we do not buy entire estates. In other words, all our pieces are "hand-picked" because they have had that special something that has attracted us. We often make trips to all over the country to places selling "otherworldly" goods where private individuals (or other similar human-like beings) are selling their own useless things. We strive for ethical trading and operations in general.

4. Where did you get the idea for your store?

We (i.e. Helmiina, Zephyrine and other unnamed real or unreal partners) have always collected and loved old objects. As lovers of history, the mystique of beauty, and witchcraft, we have often been saddened to see how someone else's treasure has ended up in the trash. We only buy for ourselves mostly out of necessity, so we are able to "save" treasures for other hobbyists only because of this shop. Of course, it satisfies our craving of wandering and collecting quite conveniently without the fear of turning into a hamster. At least for now.

5. Why don't you have a business address?

Our life in our haunted mansion is quite ordinary and peaceful. We also want to keep it that way, so for now our archive can only be admired in our online store, as well as at various events and fairs. The undersigned also has to pretend to be an ordinary adult, and goes to work during the day like other normal people in our village. Therefore, there is no time and opportunity for a visiting address.
